Tomorrow's ride is up in the air due to rain in the forecast. ¬†Regardless of whether it is raining, there will be¬†mimosas and espresso at 10:30. ¬†If it is dry, we will head out for a ride.¬†ūüö≤¬†ūüí¶¬†

Elevation: ~ 2,000 Feet 

 
Start: We will depart from Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location at 8:30am.

Highlights: Mission Hills, Mission Bay, Mt Soledad, UCSD, Gilman Drive, the new I-5 bike path, Sorrento Valley, Del Mar, Solano Beach, Cardiff.

Finish: Back home via Torrey Pines, the Rose Canyon Bike path and Mission Bay.

Start: We will depart from Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location. We meet at 10:30am and depart around 11am.  

Stops*: Pizzaria Luigi in Golden Hill and Fall Brewing in North Park

Neighborhoods: Balboa Park, Golden Hill, South Park, North Park, Normal Heights, University Heights

Finish: We will return to Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location via the Vermont Street Bridge, Hillcrest and 4th Avenue.

Mt. Helix
 
Distance: ~ 45 Miles
Elevation: ~ 2,400 Feet 

 
Start: We will depart from Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location at 8:30am.

Highlights: University Heights, Kensington, Mission Gorge, Santee, El Cajon, Mt. Helix via Alto Drive, Spring Valley, Bonita, Harbor Drive.

Finish: Back home via Harbor Drive to 5th Avenue.

Bario Logan Grand Prix

Distance: ~10 miles
 
Start: We will depart from Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location. We meet at 10:30am and depart around 11am.  

Stops*: The Bario Logan Grand Prix, we'll get lunch at ¡Salud! and stop at Carnitas Snack Shack on the Embarcadero on the way back to Bankers Hill

About the Bario Logan Grand Prix (from the SDBC): "Join in the thrill of fast-paced bicycle racing by pro racers, top-level amateurs, and a fun children's cycling event at the Barrio Logan Grand Prix, one of Southern California's largest cycling events. The race is open to men and women of all ages, from professional and Olympic level cyclists to first-time racers. The Barrio Logan Grand Prix is also the home of the 2019 SCNCA Junior Criterium Championships. 

"The .8-mile race course takes place in historic downtown Barrio Logan and will begin and end on Newton Avenue across from Perkins Elementary School. Spectators will have access to numerous views of the racers along city streets in the Barrio Logan area throughout the day."

We went last year, and had a lot of fun watching a couple of races. 

Finish: We will return to Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location via the 5th Avenue bike path.

A little bit longer ride...Rancho Santa Fe!
 
Distance: ~ 59 Miles
Elevation: ~ 2,100 Feet 

 
Start: We will depart from Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location at 8:30am.

Highlights: We'll ride like we are going up the coast, then cut inland on the 56 Bike Path, then North to Rancho Santa Fe and back to the coast on Via De La Valle.

Finish: Back home via Torrey Pines and Mission Bay.

Distance:    ~ 10 Miles
 
Start: We will depart from Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location. We meet at 10:30am and depart around 11am.  This week we will have a strict 10:45 last call.

Sights and Neighborhoods: 5th Avenue Bike Lane, Hillcrest, University Heights and Normal Heights

Stops*: Beerfish and a special stop in Hillcrest!

Finish: Down 4th Avenue

    *We are open to suggestions and itinerary changes along the way, and we may make a stop on the way through Point Loma.

 

This Sunday
It will be Easter Sunday, but we'll still ride. The ride will be up the coast so people can turn around at any point
 
Distance: ~ 43 Miles

Elevation: ~ 1,300 Feet 

 
Start: We will depart from Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location at 8:30am.

Highlights: 
Mission Hills, Mt. Soledad (if we want - or we can go around), UCSD the new bike path and to Torrey Pines...maybe up the coast further if we would like.

Finish: We will return pretty much the same route back.
