Group Rides This Weekend | Weekend of August 14th, 2021

This Saturday

We will take more advantage of the 30th Street Bike Lanes and visit two of our favorite stops: Pizzeria Luigi in Golden Hill and Thorn St. Brewery in North Park.

Start: 

Uptown Bicycles -  Normal Heights

3426 Adams Ave., San Diego, CA 92116

As always, we’ll meet at 10:30am. We’ll have coffee and beverages while we gather, and will depart the Normal Heights shop around 11:00am.

Distance: ~ 10 Miles

Highlights: We’ll ride through Normal Heights, North Park & South Park where we’ll stop for lunch at Pizzeria Luigi. Then back up to North Park & Thorn St. Brewery. Then we'll head back to Uptown Bicycles - Normal Heights.

Finish: We’ll finish the ride back at the Normal Heights shop, sometime around 4:30pm.

This Sunday

Considering the warm forecast we'll stay near the coast. We'll head north over Mt. Soledad down to the Cardiff Kook & Back through Rose Canyon

Distance: ~ 52 Miles

Elevation: ~ 2,434 Feet

Start: We will depart from Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location at 8:30am.

Route: We'll head through Mission Hills & Mission Bay to the summit of Mt. Soledad. Then up the coast through Torrey Pines and finally to the 'Cardiff Kook' statue at Cardiff State Beach. Then we head back to the Bankers Hill shop via Rose Canyon and back up through Mission Hills.
