We leave no riders behind
We make stop for drinks, food & group pictures
Designed for all rider levels
Typically under 10 miles

This Saturday

Eleni is leading NoSpandexSaturday this week. Our stops will be Lefty’s Chicago Pizzeria in Mission Hills and Eppig Brewing North Park.

Start: Uptown Bicycles - Normal Heights

3426 Adams Ave., San Diego, CA 92116

As always, we’ll meet at 10:30am. We’ll have coffee and beverages while we gather, and will depart the Normal Heights shop around 11:00am.

Distance: ~ 10 Miles

Highlights: We will explore the Uptown neighborhoods of Normal Heights, North Park, University Heights, Hillcrest and Mission Hills. Our stops will be Lefty’s Chicago Pizzeria in Mission Hills and Eppig Brewing North Park.

Finish: We’ll finish the ride back at the Normal Heights shop, sometime around 4:30pm.

This Sunday

While Curtis leads some riders on Bike the Bay, Ben Baltic will be leading our Sunday Ride.

Distance: ~ 46 Miles

Elevation: ~ 1,600 Feet

Start: We will depart from Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location at 8:30am.

Route: We will head North to the 56 Bike Trail, then to Torrey Pines and back around Mission Bay and Pacific Highway.

About Bike the Bay

Bike the Bay is an Annual opportunity to bike over the Coronado Bridge, enjoy the Bayshore Bikeway and meet other cyclists in San Diego and support the San Diego

Bicycle Coalition. The ride is an easy pace and opportunity to go further than you usually would.

As always, Uptown Bicycles will do a rollout from our Bankers Hill Shop. This adds to the ride, helps you get to The Embarcadero to start the ride and ride with other friendly cyclists.

We will depart at 6:15am. But if you’d like to come by early, Curtis will be there after 5:45 serving up complimentary espressos.
