About the Saturday Ride

  • No Spandex required
  • Helmets are required
  • Mimosa and/or Espresso
  • We leave no riders behind
  • We make stop for drinks, food & group pictures
  • Designed for all rider levels
  • Typically under 10 miles
 

This Saturday

Empanada Kitchen & hosted Pizza Port Beer at the Bankers Hill Shop for a last visit.

 

StartUptown Bicycles - Normal Heights

3426 Adams Ave., San Diego, CA 92116

 

As always, we’ll meet at 10:30am. We’ll have coffee and beverages while we gather, and will depart the Normal Heights shop around 11:00am.

 

Distance: ~ 10 Miles

 

Route: The Saturday Ride will visit Empanada Kitchen in the East Village. We will then ride up the new 5th Avenue bike lane to the Uptown Bankers Hill shop for one last visit and some hosted Pizza Port Beer!

 

Finish: We’ll finish the ride back at the Normal Heights shop, sometime around 2:30pm.

 

*We are open to suggestions and itinerary changes along the way

About the Sunday Ride

  • Explore new routes around the County

This Sunday

This ride leaves from Uptown Bicycles in NORMAL HEIGHTS and returns to Rouleur Brewing in North Park. For all riders, Rouleur is offering a 15% off discount.

 

Distance: ~ 56 Miles

 

Elevation: ~ 3,000 Feet

 

Route: This ride goes up Mt. Soledad, through UCSD, down the Gilman Bike Path and up Pacific Highway until turning around at the Cardiff Kook. The return trip goes on the Rose Canyon bike path instead of up Mt. Soledad. We will return to to the Uptown area with the climb of our choice.
