This Saturday

This weekend we are going to enjoy the new bike lanes on 30th Street…they may be controversial because of the lost parking, but we should still enjoy them by bike!

**We are now starting the #NoSpandexRide at:

Uptown Bicycles - New Normal Heights Location:

3426 Adams Ave., San Diego, CA 92116. 

As always, we’ll meet at 10:30am. We’ll have coffee and beverages while we gather, and will depart the Normal Heights shop around 11:00am.

Distance: ~ 10 Miles

Highlights: Our fist stop will be at the Shawarma Guys food truck in South Park. They have amazing shawarma and falafels. And by popular demand, our second stop will be Second Change Beer Lounge in North Park.

Finish: We’ll end up back at the Normal Heights shop, sometime around 4:00pm.

*We are open to suggestions and itinerary changes along the way

This Sunday

We'll take advantage of the cooler weather and head to the San Ysidro border crossing, then turn around and come back along the coast.

Distance: ~ 48 Miles

Elevation: ~ 1,333 Feet

Start: We will depart from Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location at 8:30am.

Route: After riding down Harbor Drive and through Bonita we will ride by the San Ysidro boarder crossing. We will return through Imperial Beach and up the west side of the Bayshore Bike Way.
