About the Saturday Ride

  • No Spandex required
  • Helmets are required
  • Mimosa and/or Espresso
  • We leave no riders behind
  • We make stop for drinks, food & group pictures
  • Designed for all rider levels
  • Typically under 10 miles

This Saturday

We celebrate Joanne’s Birthday, eat lumpia & go for a ride.

3426 Adams Ave., San Diego, CA 92116. 


As always, we’ll meet at 10:30am. We’ll have coffee and beverages while we gather, and will depart the Normal Heights shop around 11:00am.


Distance: ~ 10 Miles


Highlights: Ware very excited that one of our Saturday riders is bringing lunch for everyone! Mia is bringing lumpia. So before we depart, we’ll enjoy some Lumpia! At the shop, we will also be celebrating the birthday of one of our riders, Joanne! Next we will do a Kensington appreciation tour on our way to Cafe Madeline in North Park. Next we will make our way to Thorn Brewing in Mission Hills. 


Finish: We’ll end up back at the Normal Heights shop, sometime around 4:00pm.

About the Sunday Ride

This Sunday

Considering the warm forecast we'll stay near the coast.  We'll head north over Mt. Soledad down to the Cardiff Kook & Back through Rose Canyon


Distance: ~ 52 Miles


Elevation: ~ 2,434 Feet


Start: We will depart from Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location at 8:30am.


Route: We'll head through Mission Hills & Mission Bay to the summit of Mt. Soledad. Then up the coast through Torrey Pines and finally to the 'Cardiff Kook' statue at Cardiff State Beach. Then we head back to the Bankers Hill shop via Rose Canyon and back up through Mission Hills.
