Saturdays at 10:30am 

Uptown Bicycles Normal Heights Location

 

About the Saturday Ride

  • We will be practicing social distancing
  • No Spandex required
  • Helmets are required
  • Mimosa and/or Espresso
  • We leave no riders behind
  • We make stop for drinks, food & group pictures
  • Designed for all rider levels
  • Typically under 10 miles
  • We encourage riders to maintain a 6ft. distance from other riders
 

This Saturday

We head to the harbor & The Carnitas Snack Shack!

Uptown Bicycles - New Normal Heights Location:

3426 Adams Ave., San Diego, CA 92116. 

 

As always, we’ll meet at 10:30am. We’ll have coffee and beverages while we gather, and will depart the Normal Heights shop around 11:00am.

 

Distance: ~ 10 Miles

 

Highlights: We’ll ride through Normal Heights, City Heights, Hill Crest, Bankers Hill & Little Italy on our way to the Carnitas Snack Shack along the Harbor. After lunch we'll bike up 5th Avenue, & by the Bankers Hill shop, before a stop at Pure Project. Then we'll head back to Uptown Bicycles - Normal Heights.

 

Finish: We’ll finish the ride back at the Normal Heights shop, sometime around 4:30pm.

 

*We are open to suggestions and itinerary changes along the way

#Sunday Ride

Sundays at 8:30am

Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location

 

About the Sunday Ride

  • We will be practicing social distancing
  • Explore new routes around the County
  • No-Drop / No-Intimidation 
  • Geared towards experienced road riders
  • Take on challenging rides with a group
  • Other riders help push your limits
  • Leaves from the Uptown area

*We continue to follow CDC guidelines, including the recommendation to practice 'social distancing'.

 

This Sunday

We head for the Boarder

 

Distance: ~ 48 Miles

 

Elevation: ~ 1,333 Feet

 

Start: We will depart from Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location at 8:30am.

 

RouteAfter riding down Harbor Drive and through Bonita we will ride by the San Ysidro boarder crossing. We will return through Imperial Beach and up the west side of the Bayshore Bike Way.

As demand for bike service continues to grow, it remains our mission to provide top-level service with the fastest turn-around times in the business. Currently turn-around time for bike service is 2-4 days!
