About the Saturday Ride

  • No Spandex required
  • Helmets are required
  • Mimosa and/or Espresso
  • We leave no riders behind
  • We make stop for drinks, food & group pictures
  • Designed for all rider levels
  • Typically under 10 miles
 

This Saturday

This week we will go to the new, great, bicycle friendly brewery, Rouleur Brewing for lunch. We’re very excited about this new stop We’ll make another stop (to be determined) on the way back to the shop.

 

StartUptown Bicycles -  Normal Heights

3426 Adams Ave., San Diego, CA 92116

 

As always, we’ll meet at 10:30am. We’ll have coffee and beverages while we gather, and will depart the Normal Heights shop around 11:00am.

 

Distance: ~ 10 Miles

 

Highlights: We’ll explore the neighborhoods of Normal Heights, Kensington & North Park. We’ll stop for lunch at #rouleurbrewing in North Park, then back to the shop in Normal Heights

 

Finish: We’ll finish the ride back at the Normal Heights shop, sometime around 4:30pm.

Sundays at 8:30am

Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location

 

About the Sunday Ride

  • Explore new routes around the County
  • No-Drop / No-Intimidation 
  • Geared towards experienced road riders
  • Take on challenging rides with a group
  • Other riders help push your limits
  • Leaves from the Uptown area
 

This Sunday

Dave leads the way to Mt. Helix Via Mission Trails & Back via Bonita and Harbor Drive

 

Distance: ~ 46 Miles

 

Elevation: ~ 2,028 Feet

 

Start: We will depart from Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location at 8:30am.

 

Route: We'll go through Mission Trails Park to Mt. Helix. Then we head back via Bonita and Harbor Drive.
