Group Rides This Weekend | Weekend of October 30, 2021

This Saturday

We bike to the harbor in Little Italy for lunch at Carnitas’ Snack Shack. And we’ll make a stop at Panama 66 in Balboa Park after lunch.

Start: Uptown Bicycles -  Normal Heights

3426 Adams Ave., San Diego, CA 92116

As always, we’ll meet at 10:30am. We’ll have coffee and beverages while we gather, and will depart the Normal Heights shop around 11:00am.

Distance: ~ 10 Miles

Highlights: We will explore the neighborhoods of Normal Heights, University Heights, Bankers Hill & Little Italy before lunch at Carnitas’ Snack Shack. Then we head back up 5th Ave, and stop in Balboa Park for refreshments at Panama 66. Then back to the shop.

Finish: We’ll finish the ride back at the Normal Heights shop, sometime around 1:30pm.

*We are open to suggestions and itinerary changes along the way

This Sunday

Curtis will be back to leading the Sunday Ride to Torrey Pines, and through Mira Mesa

Distance: ~ 50 Miles

Elevation: ~ 1,719 Feet

Start: We will depart from Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location at 8:30am.

Route: We’ll ride by Mission Bay and through Pacific Beach on the way to Torrey Pines. From there we’ll head towards Mira Mesa along the SR 56 Bike Trail. Then we’ll head back to the shop.
