About the Saturday Ride

~No Spandex required

~Start with a Mimosa and/or Espresso

~We leave no riders behind

~Stops for drinks, food & pictures

~Designed for all rider levels
~Typically under 10 miles

This Saturday

Bring your water bottle & get some miles in. We're riding to Pacific Beach

Distance: ~ 15 Miles

Start: We will depart from Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location. We meet at 10:30 am and depart around 11:00 am.

Sights: Mission Hills, Temecula Heights, Pacific Beach & Pt. Loma

Stops: Pizza Port & Eppig Brewing

Finish: We will take Harbor Drive Bike Path & 5th Avenue Bike Lane back to Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location.

This Sunday

Mt. Soledad & Sunset Cliffs

Distance: ~ 50 Miles

Elevation: ~ 1,625 Feet

Start: We will depart from Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location at 8:30am.

Highlights: We will head North by Mission Bay to the summit of Mt. Soledad. We will stop at Sunset Cliffs National Park and Cabrillo National Monument on the way back

Finish: We will take the Harbor Dr. Bike Path & the 5th Avenue Bike Lane back to Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location

Special Labor Day Ride!

Monday, Labor Day at 8:30am
Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location

Cabrillo National Monument

Distance: ~ 22 Miles

Elevation: ~ 825 Feet

Start: We will depart from Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location at 8:30am.

Highlights: An easier road ride with just a little bit of climbing. If you’ve been nervous about the Sunday ride, but want to try out a group ride, this is a great opportunity. We will head through Mission Hills then up to Cabrillo National Monument.

Finish: We will take the Harbor Dr. Bike Path & the 5th Avenue Bike Lane back to Uptown Bicycles Bankers Hill Location

Dos Llantas'
#NoHandsWednesday

Wednesday Nights meet at 7:30pm & Depart at 8:00pm -- Uptown Bicycles Normal Heights Location

The Ride

Routes sometimes vary, but the ride typically goes through Normal Heights, University Heights, Hillcrest, down Presidio, around Fiesta Island and back to Blind Lady Ale House for a beer. Checkout the Dos Llantas Facebook page for more information.

Dos Llantas (Two Tires in Spanish) is a San Diego based bicycle club, aimed at encouraging the masses to go ride bikes. The name is inspired by our love for all things on two tires. We ride for fun, we ride for the environment, and we ride to go fast.
