Sunday: Road Ride
Start: 9:00 AM
From: Uptown Bicycles (Banker's Hill)
2665 5th Avenue, San Diego, CA
Difficulty: Intermediate
The Brooklyn ride is geared to more experienced riders, but is definitely a no-drop ride. With a civilized 9am start, we average about 14-16 mph, do some climbing and ride 40-60 miles. Routes are typically planned ahead, but plans can change depending on how everyone feels when we meet. Routes include riding up the coast, Mt. Soledad, Mission Gorge Rd, Mt. Helix and riding out to Otay Lake. This ride: - Is good for people who want a good ride, but it is not intimidating - Is good for riders trying to push their limits - Explores a lot of routes around the county, leaving from the Uptown area.
